Part 2: Increasing Complexity: Why CLOs need to support change and develop continuous learning in complex environments.

In part 2, Charles describes how developed countries are changing rapidly. He quotes how a Mckinsey report some years ago described this situation: “More problem solvers are needed with fewer doers in their ranks.” In other words Charles writes, that more complex and interactive jobs requiring decision- making skills are being created as the number of transactional jobs decreases. We have certainly witnessed this here in the UAE over the last three years, as more transactional jobs are being substituted with technology. Charles writes that the implications are clear for CLO’s.
