Wishes you a very Happy 2013

Well dear members, the world did not end in 2012, and i wonder if any of you felt the heavy energies of the world thinking surrounding this idea. 2013 already feels lighter to me! This week I am sure you will all be beavering away at – if you have not done so already- your goals and intentions for the year. On Monday i am with friends doing my annual vision board to set my intention for making 2013 my best year yet! At the end of this article I will share an exercise that may help you get into the mode of setting your intentions. try it with your teams and see how they like it. has had a very successful year extending membership and supporting events by becoming media partners, adding value to our members through exclusive discounts to attend some very good events and speaker functions. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Monthly Spotlight Contributors for sharing their thoughts around their businesses and the challenges they have encountered along the way. We also give special thanks to our regular contributors who have supported us with excellent articles and white papers in 2013.

We would like to invite you to keep on writing and contributing to add to our vision of making a vehicle for sharing local HR and L&D ideas and content, white papers and research, and help us build our on-line community. Let’s start sharing.

Vision Exercise: Imagine it is New Year 2014 and you have had your best year ever. In 2013 you got everything that you wanted – it all happened.

How does that feel? – do you have a scrambled unknowing feeling? If so that means that you have not defined properly what you want to happen this year.

Stop and write down what you want to happen. Then go forward to 2014 and repeat above. How does it feel? What had to happen to you to have got what you wanted? What did you do? How were you? What did you think and feel?
Close your eyes and imagine Jan 31 2013 with all your hearts desires. really feel it.Now with that mindset, write down three things you can do to get the ball rolling.

With that mindset The team wish you a very Happy New Year for 2013
All the best Maggie, Chief Editor.
